The Porter County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with East Porter County School Corporation, would like to inform the public of police training that will be taking place at Washington Township Elementary School (383 E. State Road 2) on March 26, 2025. This is during Spring Break. The safety drill will be conducted from approximately 9:00 am until 3:00 p.m. There may be an increase in police vehicles in the area and police-related activities occurring within the school. Please do not be alarmed, as the school corporation and Sheriff's Department are aware of the drill taking place.

Good morning, WT families. A precautionary boil advisory has been issued by the city of Valparaiso that includes Washington Township schools. We will have bottled water available to students throughout the day. Students are also welcome to bring their own bottled water from home.

Revised 2025 School Board Work Sessions and Business Meeting Dates
This past weekend, 26 students from Morgan Township participated in the Vocal/Piano Solo and Ensemble Contest at Valparaiso High School. Morgan students received 15 Gold ratings and 4 Silver ratings. Special congratulations go out to Lucia Hensley, Luke Snow, and Juliana Ferguson for advancing to the state level, which will be held in Indianapolis on February 22nd.
