SAVE THE DATES!!
WTS needs your help! So does our community! Are you aware of the shortage of blood at our local hospitals? Our schools want to help by hosting three EPCSC Blood Drives this year. Not only will your donations save lives, but will provide 9 scholarships for our students as well! Please put the following dates and locations on your calendar and donate at each drive! Links to sign up will be sent as the dates get near.
PLEASE donate at each drive! The more pints of blood we collect, the larger the scholarship is for the students!
Plus, keep in mind the coveted traveling trophy! Washington has had more donors for each drive since the competition started! The trophy looks great in our front office! Please help us keep it there!!

The Key Club International Convention (ICON) this year in Atlanta, Georgia was such an amazing experience for our attendees! Indiana had 8 Key Clubbers attend ICON this year. Jason Bunag, Samantha Bunag, Nicole Bunag, Paige Hein, Gage Gonzalez, and Camden Bell represented Washington Township High School, and made up 6 out of 8 total Key Club attendees from Indiana. All attendees took part in the pre-convention tour days alongside the Michigan District by traveling to museums such as the Civil Rights Museum, Breman Holocaust Museum, and World of Coke Museum, just to name a few. Then transitioning to the actual ICON 2024 convention days, our attendees listened to amazing guest speakers such as paralympian Evan Austin and CEO of The LiTEArary Society Rania Zuri, as well as learned more about Key Club by attending wonderful workshops! Indiana had multiple clubs get shouted out, win awards, and have some past Lieutenant Governors win Robert F. Lucas awards (RFLs). Among the awards, Key Club advisor Barbara Rea was shouted out for being Outstanding Faculty Advisors. Next, the entire Washington Township Key Club was recognized for being a Distinguished Club. Then alongside other past Lieutenant Governors, Jason Bunag won a Robert F. Lucas award (RFL) for being a Distinguished Lieutenant Governor. Paige Hein also received a Distinguished Governor award for serving as Indiana District Governor last year. Indiana also had 2 candidates run for the position of International Trustee. At the end of the last ICON day, we found out that 1 of our candidates prevailed! Nicole Bunag is one of the International Trustees for the 2024-2025 service year! Nicole is a part of Key Club’s International Board and now oversees the districts of Florida, Missouri-Arkansas, and California-Nevada-Hawaii KIWIN’S. If you want to make connections with people a part of the Key Club community from around the world, vote on the next International Board, celebrate Key Club’s 100th Birthday, and make long-lasting memories, be sure to save the date for July 2nd - 6th, 2025 for ICON 2025 in Orlando, Florida! ON YOU KEY CLUB SENATORS!!!
