The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890, is committed to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism across the United States. Since its establishment, more than one million women have become members, contributing to meaningful initiatives that uphold the organization’s mission.
Dana’s achievement is particularly remarkable as her essay contest submission, which included an essay and resume, earned a perfect score of 100 from three different judges. This recognition highlights her commitment to excellence and her ability to articulate the values of the DAR through her writing. In addition to winning the DAR Essay Contest, Dana has also been named a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship, a prestigious honor awarded to top-performing students nationwide. Furthermore, she has earned a spot as a regional academic all-star, further demonstrating her dedication to academic success.
