On February 24, a group of Morgan Township students attended the Porter County Leadership Conference, an event dedicated to fostering leadership skills and collaboration among student leaders from across the county. The conference provided students with the opportunity to engage in interactive workshops, hear from inspiring guest speakers, and connect with peers from other schools.
Throughout the day, students participated in sessions focused on effective communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and community impact. These workshops challenged them to think critically about leadership and how they can make a positive difference in their school and beyond.
“This conference was an eye-opening experience for a lot of our students,” said guidance counselor, Kim Wilkinson. “I think it helped them to understand what it takes to be a leader and gave them some tools that they can bring back to Morgan.”
Morgan Township continues to encourage students to take on leadership roles both inside and outside the classroom. Events like the Porter County Leadership Conference equip our students with the tools they need to grow as confident, capable leaders.
Congratulations to all the students who represented Morgan Township at this event! Your commitment to leadership and service makes a lasting impact on our school and community.
