The 7th Grade Lady Cherokees lost a tough defensive battle to Liberty Middle School, 26-15. They played a great 2nd half after starting the game with a slow start, to fall just short. They were led by Kate Whited with 3 pts, Shaina Otey with 2 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists, and finally Ava Wring with 2 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and an assist. Tonight's Cherokee Award goes to Kenzie Duttlinger with 2 points and a rebound but more importantly playing great defense and trying to keep the team spirits up when things weren't going our way. |
