On Tuesday, October 9th, Mrs. Amber Dippo was surprised by a few guests in her classroom. Mr. Bucher and Mrs. Devos had stopped in to present to her the Teacher of the Month trophy!
Earlier in the month, the staff had voted on two employees of the month. They were asked to vote for a teacher and a classified employee. They were also asked to provide some feedback to explain why they felt this teacher deserved this prestigious award.
Mrs. Dippo's fellow teachers noted that she has been, "...an incredible mentor and partner in education...". Her colleagues didn't stop there as many also noted that she, "...goes above and beyond for us and the school - constantly taking on new roles that will help to support the greater cause of the school." The office staff agreed with the plethora of encouraging words that were shared regarding Mrs. Dippo. Mr. Bucher stated that Mrs. Dippo, "...is the epitome of what it means to be a Cherokee. She is selfless, committed to the success of those around her, and willing to go above and beyond to see success."
The trophy that Mrs. Dippo holds will be passed on next month as we vote again for the next teacher of the month, but for the time being, it's Mrs. Dippo that holds the bragging rights!
