The Morgan Township boys' Soccer team improved to 4-0 on the season after a convincing victory over potential sectional foe, Marquette Catholic 3-2.

The Cherokees fell behind early, but were able to fight back behind aggressive offensive attacks from Cooper Spagna, Noah Barker, Maddox Cuson, Brayden Bryan, and Jake Weltzin. Spagna continued to pour on the scoring here in the forth game of the season when he connected off a rebounded attempt from Noah Barker. This was followed by an equally impressive, lead-taking goal from, freshman, Maddox Cuson off of an impressive pass from Jake Weltzin.

The bulk majority of the game provided a lot of offensive fire power as the Cherokee's matched the physicality of the Blazers. Morgan's third goal would come later on when Brayden Bryan found Cooper Spagna once again. Jake Weltzin's over all play was a huge benefactor in the Cherokee victory.

The boys are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Hammond Academy of Science and Technology for a 4:45 start.
