Our Morgan girls took home 3rd at the Kouts Invite!
The girls 4 x 800 relay team of Vanessa, Peyton, Shae and Isabella took home first and broke the Kout’s Invitational record that had been held since 1996 shaving over 12 seconds off the previous record with a time of 9.55. Emmy Bland took 1st in the 800 m breaking the previous Kouts invitational record from 1991!
There were so many that contributed points to the win!
Kaelin took 1st in the discus and 4th in the shot put.
Madelyn took 1st in pole vault and Greta took 2nd.
Dana placed 1st in the 3200 and Peyton 2nd.
Ava took 2nd in both the hurdles.
Addie took 5th in the high hurdles and 8th in the 300 m hurdles.
Audrey took 4th in the 400 m run.
Vanessa 6th in the 400m.
Jenna took 7th in the 800 m run.
Macy took 5th in the 100m.
Genevieve took 5th in the long jump, 7th in the high jump and 8th in the 100m.
Hailey took 8th in the long jump.
Olivia took 6th in shot put.
The 4 x 100 of Hailey, Addie, Gen and Macy as well as the 4 x 400 relay team of Isabella, Emmy, Vanessa and Audrey both took 3rd.
What a great finish for the boys at the Kouts Invite!! Our small but mighty team earned enough points to take home 4th place! Chance Butz broke the Kouts Invitational record for shot by over a foot which was previously held by our own former Morgan athlete Bram Arnett from 2021.
Chance B brought home 1st place medals in both the shot put and discus.
Jacob took home 2nd in discus with a season best and 8th in shot put.
Aiden took home 2nd in both hurdle races.
Harper soared to 3rd in pole vault matching his season best.
Lincoln bounded to 5th in pole vault matching his PR.
Tyler 4th in the 100 m dash.
Chance H 7th in both the 100m and 200m.
Mason took 8th in the 1600 m.
The boys relay team of Chance, Aiden, Lincoln and Tyler earned 3rd with a new PR time.
On to PCC next Saturday!
